Celebrate The People Around You

I hate the phrase, 'at the speed of culture'. I've been at agencies who push culture for new business, but don't actually do much to understand what it is that word 'culture' means. Through conversations with friends and those who inspire me, I wanted to explore that though, 'of what it is that everyone's pushing...culture.' However, I felt the right way to explore this was through the eyes and thoughts of those who are crafting the culture, messaging, and content we see. So, it was a great opportunity to allow my incredibly talented friends to share their voice in a media outlet in which they typically don't have a voice. I have built a relationship with the editor of Philly Ad News, and he is incredibly gracious, allowing me to explore my ideas and be a guest editor of issues from time to time, taking ownership of the direction and content within a quarterly issue.
